We are really proud to introduce our brand new 'bean to bar' chocolate made from beans from the Moa Estate in Upolo, Samoa. We have three delicious chocolate bars as well as a 'Chef's' block and cocoa nibs.
Our thanks go to Nusi, the owner of Moa Estate who has taken his expertise as a soil scientist home to Samoa to grow a Cacao Plantation. He is passionate about the fermentation process and this is one of the essential parts to creating a delicious rich chocolate.
Beans are brought into New Zealand and are roasted, winnowed and conched in our chocolate kitchen in Devonport by Terry Everitt, one of the partners of Devonport Chocolates, this truly is a labour of love.
